Doctor in Stomatology (DDS) graduated from Higher Institute of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, in 1991, with a 27 years background experience in the field of Dentistry. In 2001 I finished the specialty of Prosthodontics and a 1st degree specialist in Prosthodontics Title was granted to me, accumulating a 17 years experience as Prosthodontist ( PhD). In 2009 a Title of 2nd degree specialist in Health Organization and Administration ( other PhD) and a title of Master degree ( MSc), Master in Community Oral Health were granted to me, reaching up to now, a 9 years-experience in both, Technical and academic rank. All my professional and academic education was carried out in the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. In 2004. I was approved by a resolution of the Chancellor of the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences as an assistant professor and as a Senior Lecturer from University of Guyana from 2017.

During all my years of experience as a professional and lecturer I have performed multiple tasks with positive results, in the administrative order I have directed multiple institutions not only in the dental field but  also, some general hospitals, and polyclinics as well, from 2006 to 2010  I was named and served as the Chief of Stomatology in Santiago de Cuba province for a period of 4 years and obtaining positive results, being also the Medical Chief substitute in Santiago de Cuba Provincial Headquarter of Public Health, acting in that position in several times, as a professor, I also developed an extensive work in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate and in the development of Dental Specialties, I taught some postgraduate courses, participated in several examination boards of the completion of the Dentistry career and residence ending in different specialties, I was the mentor of multiple research projects of completion of DDS programme, specialties, etc . I reached to Guyana in June 2010, as a part of the Cuban Medical Brigade, in this country, I was the Medical Director of Diamond Diagnostics Centre during the years 2011 and 2012. After I finished my contract with the government I got married with a Guyanese citizen, starting a permanent residence in this country from there and getting my Guyanese citizenship in 2013. From July 2012 to December 2013 I worked in a private Dental Clinic as a Dental Surgeon and from July 2014 to present days, I have been working as a supervisor / consultant of the department of Prosthodontics at Chedi Jagan Dental Centre. As a lecturer, I was a part time lecturer in the University of Guyana from 2012 until September 2017 when I was promoted  as a Senior Lecturer, as a member of the University of Guyana staff, I am in charge of some courses related to the specialty of prosthodontics, developing multiple tasks with the undergraduate students, including the mentoring of some research projects,  delivered conferences and  clinical attachment, it also includes master degree thesis mentoring, Ialways try to contribute to the improvement of our curriculum to get closer or to reach the same level of those  recognized universities not only in the Caribbean area but also in the rest of the world as well. I have participated in multiple national and international conventions,  as a speaker in many occasions. I have also received multiple postgraduate courses.

 I am a member of the International College of Prosthodontics as an international association.
