  1.   Metal Complexes in Biology and Medicine

          Synthesis characterization and biomedical applications

           of metal complexes in the treatment of various diseases. 

          Use of   innovative Ionophoretic Technique in the studies

          of biologically important metal complexes.

          Synthesis and characterization of organometallic compounds

          of industrial applications.

  1.   Astrobiology +  Chemical Evolution and Origins of Life

 

Studies of possible chemical reactions/development under primitive earth environment conditions.  This research is also included comparative study of similar chemical reactions/ development on other planets of universe in space currently. The study of Photochemical organic reactions under primitive earth conditions and analysis of their products.

 

  1.  Environment Agriculture and Microbiology(Human and  Plant Pathogens)

                                  

Use of Innovative ferrate technology (green chemicals) for water and waste water treatment.  Ferrate (VI) on use produce environmentally friendly by-product. Green chemical can be commercialized.

The removal of heavy metals and anions from environment, surface and ground water through adsorption on locally available cost effective local waste bio-materials.

 

Adsorptive removal of substituted phenols and organic materials from environment , drinking water and local industrial waste water.

Adsorptive removal of substituted phenols from agriculture soils which reduce their fertility.

 

Preparation of crude green drugs of high antimicrobial, anti fungal and antioxidant potential from Guyana flora. Green drugs can be commercialized. This study is also included phytochemicals.
