About Ms. Medeba Uzzi
Chemistry Education
With more than 20 years of experience teaching Chemistry at the Secondary Advanced and Introductory University levels, my mission is to make the study of Chemistry less complex and more fun for the learner. The application of different pedagogical approaches and consequent measurement of their impacts is my passion.
Food Analysis
Food analyses as they relate to nutritional value (particularly vitamin C and sugar levels) and presence of contaminants such as cyanide and other potential toxins have been the focus of some of my more recent research efforts.
Water Treatment
Purification of surface water and treatment of wastewater using natural coagulants derived from waste materials or abundant indigenous plants are two areas of interest to me.
